Course Description

This course focuses on extract, transform, and load techniques to populate dimensional models. Students will be introduced to multiple ETL initial and incremental load techniques (including, but not limited to: checksums, CDCs, and timestamps) to effectively load data into a data warehouse/data mart. Additionally, students will be exposed to real-time problems that occur while performing ETL, including multiple data operations (such as data profiling, data cleansing, and data verification).
