Dr. James Stanger is CompTIA’s Chief Technology Evangelist. For over 25 years, he’s consulted with governments and industry worldwide about security, open source, and workforce development. In addition to his work in the IT industry, Dr. Stanger has designed globally-recognized education, certification, and badging programs in topics as diverse as security analytics, Linux administration, and cloud migration.
 

He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, the AFCEA Cybersecurity Committee, the AFCEA Zero Trust Sub-committee, the ATARC Secure 5G and Cloud Security working groups, and the APUS IT Advisory Council. He is also Chair of the C3, the consortium of leading global cybersecurity certification bodies (GIAC, ISC2, ISACA, IAPP, and CertNexus).
